Overview

A personality-assessment company that had operated manually since 1985 ran on a technology platform I built from 1998 until 2020, when the founders retired. Its flagship profile assesses communication preferences across seven communication styles. I built the entire technology platform—profile assessment and management tools.

The platform processed assessments for 22 years, 1998 to 2020. That's the kind of longevity you get when systems are built right.

The Platform

Multi-portal architecture serving different user types:

  • End-user portal for taking assessments and viewing results
  • Life coach management portal for managing clients
  • Admin portal for operations and reporting

The system generates comprehensive 15-25 page reports based on complex grading mechanisms. Multi-language support for international deployments. Integration with payment processing and user management.

Technical Implementation

Built with ASP.NET C#, SQL Server, MVC architecture. Browser-based for maximum accessibility. The grading engine statistically determines communication preferences across the seven-style framework.

The platform handles multi-language support for international markets, complex business logic for personality profiling, and generates detailed PDF reports on demand.

Why This Matters

This project proves I don't just build healthcare systems. Personality assessment requires completely different architecture—complex algorithms, report generation, multi-language support, coach management tools.

The fact that the platform I built ran for 22 years (1998–2020) shows I understand how to build systems that last across decades and market changes.

Tech Stack

Backend: ASP.NET C#, SQL Server, MVC
Frontend: Browser-based, responsive design
Features: Complex grading algorithms, PDF generation, multi-language

22 years in operation, 1998 to 2020. Different industry. Complex algorithms. That's what systems engineering looks like.
